Enviropeel - Metal anticorrosion
Advantages:
- Protects against galvanic and crevice corrosion
- Built-in inhibitors provide long-term corrosion protection
- Spray application fits any shape or size of substrate
The Enviropeel System was conceived and developed by the Group’s own engineers and is the first system of its kind in the world. Its innovative approach allows active corrosion protection to be applied on site and to objects of any shape or size. Built-in corrosion-inhibitors, a tough, impermeable barrier coating and ease of application open up new possibilities for protection in many industries, especially where galvanic and crevice corrosion affect bolted systems, such as flanges and valves.
A solid at normal temperatures, the Enviropeel material is melted in a computer-controlled heating tank to form a sprayable liquid. Pumped along specially designed, heated hoses to the spray gun, the material can be sprayed on to the substrate, forming a perfectly fitting ‘second skin’. Inhibitors within Enviropeel coat all surfaces inside the protected area, penetrating between surfaces and along bolt threads. Corrosion inhibitors continue to be released, providing continuous active protection for the lifetime of the system, sealed within the protective cocoon of the Enviropeel material.
